Tea Caddies
Japanese tea caddies, or Chazutsu, are a functional as well as stylish accessory for storing teas to preserve their aroma and freshness for longer. Available in a variety of materials, sizes and styles, the Chazutsu is suitable for storing all kinds of tea and is a must-have for Senchadō tea ceremonies. Each caddy displays the approximate weight of loose leaf Sencha it can hold.
Yuzamashi - Coolers
Literally "hot water cooler" the Yuzamashi pitcher is used to lower the temperature of boiled water before preparing delicate Japanese green teas, namely Gyokuro, Kabusecha and Sencha, in order to minimise bitterness and fully bring out their sweetness. Available in a variety of styles and colours to match your Kyusu teapot.
Chakoboshi
Chakoboshi are traditional Japanese slop bowls for collecting excess water, tea and brewed leaves, which are neatly kept out of sight beneath a lid. Perfect for Senchadō leaf tea ceremonies and when brewing numerous rounds of tea.
Chakoro
