Mizudashi - Cold Brew
Mizudashi, or cold brewing, produces a sweeter, more nuanced cup of tea, bringing out the rich flavours of the leaves without any bitterness. These borosilicate glass flasks by Hario with built-in strainer are specially designed for cold brewing in the refrigerator without any fuss. Shiboridashi & Hohin
Specialist handleless teapots to fully release the aroma and flavour of the finest Japanese green teas – particularly Gyokuro and Kabusecha. Japanese tea caddies, or Chazutsu, are a functional as well as stylish accessory for storing teas to preserve their aroma and freshness for longer. Each caddy displays the approximate weight of loose leaf Sencha it can hold.
Kettles - Tetsubin
Traditional Tetsubin kettles for boiling water for tea, handcrafted at leading Nanbu Tekki foundries in Iwate: the centre of Japanese cast ironwork. Uncoated on the inside, the iron helps to mineralise and soften the water for a richer and sweeter brew.

Yixing Teapots
The Yixing teapot is made of clay from near the town of Yixing in the eastern province of Jiangsu, China. The unglazed porous clay, also known as Zisha (紫砂 "purple clay"), has excellent heat retaining properties, making Yixing teapots the best brewing vessels for Chinese black, Oolong and Pu Erh teas. Here we offer a variety of popular shapes and styles that are perfect for use in Gongfu tea ceremonies.
Chaozhou Teapots
Made of red clay from the Phoenix Mountains of Chaozhou in Guangdong province, Chaozhou teapots can be even more porous than Yixing teapots, and tend to be smaller with thinner walls. Naturally, these teapots pair perfectly with Phoenix Mountain Dan Cong Oolongs as well as other lightly roasted teas.

Jingdezhen Porcelain
The birthplace of porcelain, the city of Jingdezhen in Jiangxi province has been producing the finest china for over a thousand years, thanks to its natural abundance of kaolin clay. Glazed porcelain does not absorb any flavours or aromas, making them suitable for preparing and serving all kinds of tea, as well as for tasting and comparing teas.
Nixing Teapots
Nixing pottery from Qinzhou, Guangxi province, in southern China, has a history going back 1300 years. Made of a mixture of clays from the banks of the Qinjiang river, Nixing wares are typically baked unglazed at high temperatures to a characteristic deep brown colour and then polished to reveal an incredibly smooth surface. Teapots made of Nixing clay are slightly porous, but less so than Yixing ones, and may be used to brew all kinds of Chinese tea.
Gaiwan
A must-have for all Chinese tea lovers, the classic porcelain Gaiwan (lit. 'lidded bowl') is the brewing vessel of choice for long leaf teas like Oolong, Pu Erh, White and Green teas. Gaiwan make for exceptionally fragrant infusions owing to their curved shape and open design that amplifies the aroma.

Classic and modern Cha Chuan (茶船; tea boat), used to catch small spillages or to collect larger quantities of water and rinsed tea when performing Gongfu Cha ceremonies with wet brewing methods.
Cha Hai - Pitchers
