For Incense Chakra we recommend a special teapot with metal screen and a thin bed of sand on it. To ensure optimal fragrancing, it is important that the fragrances are only slightly glowing, so very gently removed from the incense. If the incense is heated too much or even burned, a large part of the subtle effect is lost. Alternatively, an incense bowl with a bed of sand can be used. No synthetic coal should be used for heating, only natural coal.
Suitable incense burners have sufficient distance between the heat source and the incense and the incense is placed on a bed of sand, which is heated from below. Through this uniform heating of the sand, the incense is only slowly glowed and the fragrances are released very gently and slowly. This allows them to unfold optimally.
