Shizuoka
Shizuoka Prefecture produces the majority of teas in Japan and is famous for the high qualities of its top region, Honyama. Due to the large selection of organic teas from Shizuoka, we only source teas of the highest qualities with unique character that meet our high standards. We are also particularly proud of our cooperation with the pioneer of organic tea in Japan, Toshiaki Kinezuka, who has been growing his tea in complete harmony with and for nature since 1976.
GABA Tea
GABA teas are naturally enriched with the valuable amino acid GABA through short storage by excluding oxygen. We source directly from selected top farmers from pesticide-free or organic cultivation. You can find more Gaba teas in our GABA category.
Sencha
Shizuoka senchas stand out for their flavourful diversity and highest qualities. Due to the high production quantities and the straightforward character of the teas, they are considered by connoisseurs to be the model for modern sencha taste.
Gyokuro & Kabusecha
Short-shaded kabusecha and long-shaded gyokuro from Shizuoka with fresh and spicy umami. Thanks to the shading, the tea plants produce a higher amount of amino acids called L-theanine, which have been proven to provide the umami taste.
Bancha & Genmaicha
Mineral bancha and balanced genmaicha blended with roasted rice from the top region of Honyama in Shizuoka. Fresh green teas that can be enjoyed even in the afternoon thanks to a lower caffeine content.

Sannen Bancha & Hojicha
Strongly roasted green teas with a low caffeine content and a warming basic character. The distinctly older leaf material of the Sannenbancha develops a clear and particularly mineral cup of tea, whereas the Hōjicha shines with full, strong roasted aromas.
