Shizuoka
Shizuoka Prefecture produces the majority of teas in Japan and is famous for the high qualities of its top region, Honyama. Due to the large selection of organic teas from Shizuoka, we only source teas of the highest qualities with unique character that meet our high standards. We are also particularly proud of our cooperation with the pioneer of organic tea in Japan, Toshiaki Kinezuka, who has been growing his tea in complete harmony with and for nature since 1976.
Sencha
Shizuoka Sencha is renowned for its remarkable diversity of flavour and outstanding quality. Due to the high production quantities and the straightforward character of the teas, they are considered by connoisseurs to be the model for modern Sencha taste.

Matcha
Shizuoka matcha of the highest quality impresses with its clear, refined aroma and flavour profile. Pure, intense notes of sweet grass come through clearly, balanced by a fine, nutty bitterness and a refreshingly lively character. A true delight, whether enjoyed pure or as a matcha latte.
GABA Tea
GABA teas are naturally enriched with the valuable amino acid GABA through short storage by excluding oxygen. We source directly from selected top farmers from pesticide-free or organic cultivation. You can find more Gaba teas in our GABA category.
Gyokuro
Long-shaded Gyokuro from Shizuoka with a fresh, flavoursome umami character. The extended shading encourages the tea plants to produce higher levels of the amino acid L-theanine, which creates Gyokuro’s distinctive umami taste.

Bancha & Genmaicha
Mineral-rich Bancha and well-balanced Genmaicha blended with roasted rice, sourced from Honyama in Shizuoka, one of Japan’s most renowned tea regions. These fresh green teas naturally have a lower caffeine content, making them ideal to enjoy even in the afternoon.
Wakocha
Perfume-sweet Wakocha black teas from the finest tea gardens in the mountains of Shizuoka, with a delicate malty sweetness and a captivating, fruity-floral aroma spectrum.
