Saga

Saga Prefecture is particularly known for its Tamaryokucha and Kamairicha, most of which are grown on Kyūshū Island. We source the highest Tamaryokucha and Kamairicha qualities from the town of Ureshino from the multi-award winning tea farmer Shigeki Ota. Mr. Ota has always been interested in southern tea cultivars, and as a convinced organic tea farmer, he does not use any chemicals for their cultivation and processing. Despite their strong character, his teas manage to present themselves in an incredibly balanced way and convince with an extremely natural aroma.
