Fukuoka
In the tea world, the Yame region in Fukuoka is considered the ultimate. Our unique repertoire of Yame teas is made up of green tea specialities from the famous village of Hoshino and its neighbouring village of Ukiha, offering characterful sencha, traditional gyokuro, exquisite matcha and rare Japanese black teas. Fukuoka Prefecture is located in northern Kyūshūs, the southernmost of Japan's four main islands. The city of the same name has always functioned as a hub to the Asian mainland and is characterised by strong Korean influences, with the unique street food culture worth mentioning.
Karigane
Outstanding karigane teas made from Yame, which, thanks to the higher stem content, develop grassy-fresh flavours and contain less caffeine than pure senchas or gyokuros. Kariganes are made from high-quality green teas such as sencha and gyokuro.
Sencha
First-class sencha tea from the highly renowned Yame region and the outstanding tea village of Hoshino. The senchas offer an excellent balance of strong umami and an exceptionally mild depth. Some sencha could even be mistaken for quality gyokuro in terms of taste.

Bancha
Referred to as the "late harvest of sencha", bancha is the lighter sencha alternative with pronounced minerality and a low caffeine content. Banchas from the top terroir of Yame, however, are hardly distinguishable in quality from the usual noble senchas and bring the yame-typical complexity and full umami.
