Sannen Bancha
A very alkaline green tea with special polysaccharides and a low caffeine content. The mildly sweet sannen bancha is closely related to bancha, but the leaves and stems are either gently matured (jukusei) or allowed to grow (koba) for a period of 3 years (san nen; 三年) before undergoing a nuanced roasting process.
