Kabusecha
This semi-shaded green tea from Japan combines the umami and sweetness of gyokuro with the bitterness and complexity of sencha. We carry an upscale entry-level tea from Miyazaki, sweet and fruity with full umami; a rare Ureshino tamaryokucha with a particularly expressive body and delicate bitterness; an original Hoshino kabusecha from tea master Takaki, with maritime notes and deep, strong umami; as well as a top-quality tea with deep vegetal notes from the mountains of Shizuoka, particularly harmonious and produced by the organic purist Kinezuka.
